# Product walkthrough carousel template

A six-slide storyboard with complete example copy, screenshot instructions and a copyable Markdown download.

## Show one workflow

Use this template to explain a concrete input, the action someone takes and the output they receive. The example below uses a fictional issue tracker. Replace its details with verified behavior from your product before publishing.

The screenshot column is an asset brief, not a claim that those screenshots or features exist in Outpaced. Use synthetic data and capture the real product state you intend to demonstrate.

## Six completed slides

| Slide | Example copy | Visual brief |

| --- | --- | --- |

| 1 · Problem | Bug reports arrive in five places. Give each report one clear next step. | A clearly labelled fictional set of incoming reports |

| 2 · Input | Start with one report: the save button stops responding after an image is attached. | A synthetic report with expected and actual behavior |

| 3 · Action | Capture the browser, reproduction steps and expected result. | The relevant input fields, tightly cropped |

| 4 · Decision | Assign one person to reproduce the problem before choosing a priority. | The owner and next-action fields |

| 5 · Output | Now the report has an owner, status and next step in one place. | The completed issue with no private information |

| 6 · Next action | Try this structure with your next bug report. | A short copyable input checklist |

## Adapt without adding unsupported claims

- Replace the problem with one the intended reader recognizes.

- Show the smallest complete workflow, rather than every feature.

- Use a real output to explain what changes.

- Describe limitations where they affect the action.

- Remove any claim about time saved or conversion lift unless you have evidence for it.

## Check the reading order

Read the six headings alone. If the input, action and result are unclear, fix the story before styling it. Then read each slide by itself to check that a screenshot or label still makes sense without narration. Use the outline builder to edit the structure and retain an editable copy.
